What
You Are Paying For
When
you hire a lawyer, you are buying his time, experience, skill,
judgment, and advice. The more time you use, the more it will
cost. There are steps you can take to keep these costs down;
we will discuss them with you at our initial meeting.
You
should realize that what happens in the Courtroom is only
a small part of what is done for you; in order to obtain a
good result for you we must spend the greatest portion of
time in research and preparation; drafting documents for use
in Court; negotiating; interviewing witnesses; and investigating
the tasks that careful preparation of a case demands.
